nurturing your authentic self

Individual Therapy
Whether you're adjusting to new motherhood, navigating a big life transition, or coping with anxiety, I'm here to help you reconnect with your core values so you can create an authentic, fulfilling life.
seasons of change, even in the best cases, can be overwhelming
You’ve always imagined becoming a parent, but the path to get there hasn’t been what you hoped. Perhaps fertility struggles, pregnancy complications, or a difficult birth experience may have already left you feeling disconnected from the joy you thought would come so naturally. You may feel irritable, over-stimulated, and guilty for not loving every moment. Even if everything went according to plan, the reality of pregnancy or new motherhood is so much harder than you expected.
Or perhaps you're going through another big life event, like graduating from college, starting a new job, moving to a new city, or coping with a loss, and you find yourself in a spiral of anxious thoughts. In those moments, the pressure to have it all together (or at least appear like you do) can feel overwhelming.
If you feel like you've lost your sense of self as you start this new chapter, know that you're not alone. Let's work through this together.

you can feel like yourself again, one step at a time
Our work together will help you reconnect with your strengths, even in the midst of stress or uncertainty. We’ll build tools to stay grounded and present in daily life, while also taking the time to get to the root of the challenging emotions you're experiencing. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you feel more connected to yourself, your story, and the life you want to create.
I tailor each session to the individual client, and draw from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also certified in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method, and can incorporate movement and breathwork into sessions for clients who are interested.
how therapy can help

perinatal mental health
The perinatal season can be beautiful, exhausting, and everything in between. Our work balances practical, doable tools you can actually use in real life (even on two hours of sleep) with a strong foundation of self-compassion, so you can meet yourself with kindness in the midst of it all.

life changes
At pivotal moments in your life, you might find yourself feeling lonely, disconnected, or reminded of something from your past that you thought you had moved forward from. In our work together, we’ll highlight your inner strengths, and build space for growth, clarity, and self-trust.

anxiety
Anxiety can feel like it takes over your mind and your body, but it doesn’t have to run the show. We'll work together to not only manage symptoms of anxiety, but to get to the root cause. You'll learn concrete ways to calm your body and your mind in the moment, as well as a deeper understanding of yourself.
